Our nurse is Registered General Nurse who see patients for blood pressure checks, injections, dressing wounds and giving advice on matters such as diet. To manage patients with Chronic disease, cervical screening, to maintain accurate patient records and enter onto the computer using agreed read codes. Working under the supervision of the practice nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the healthcare assistant will assist the practice clinical; team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.

Practice Manager
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care and to ensure the effective and efficient management of the Practice. To make sure that staff have what they need to deliver effective patient care through the successful planning and delivery of services and resources. Also provide day-to-day management of all staff within the Practice and to develop and maintain individual and team performance.

Business Manager and Complaints Manager
Business manager is responsible for providing managerial and administrative support for the organization, managing the day-to-day function of the administrative and non-clinical services. Also involved in a wide range of activities, including business planning, handling financial systems for the practice, including payroll. To ensure the profitability and efficiency of the Practice, in line with NHS, partners and legislative guidelines. To provide general guidance to the partners on any developments and legislative changes which may affect the general management of the Practice
Complaints manager – Handle patient complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and compassionate manner to maintain patient satisfaction.

Assistant Practice Manager
The Assistant manager is to manage the administration staff and systems, providing an efficient practice administration that meets the needs to both practice and patients, and supervising non-clinical staff. Evaluate, organize and oversee staff training and ensure that all staff are adequately trained to fulfil their role. Plan/assist in planning and recruitment of Locum cover also to assist and support the Practice Manager in the day to day running of the practice and deputise for the Practice Manager in their absence.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They will assist you in making routine and emergency appointments to see a clinician, request repeat prescriptions, answer numerous and varied questions and offer help and assistance at all times also direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query.

It is a legal requirement that confidentiality of patients’ records is maintained at the highest level by all staff.
